Fermentation Process

We use a specialised food processing technology to nurture good bacteria namely Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium and their various sub strains, which are naturally present or created in the fermentation of raw foods.

Our lengthy 10 week fermentation process includes creating a mixed culture of yeast and bacteria sometimes called a scoby or "Mother". As well as making our own unique organic kombucha, a natural antibacterial agent which is rich in gut friendly microbes and insoluble fiber such as Inulin, Fructan, along with several digestive enzymes.

There are 6 nutritious ingredients found in Vita Plantae which includes raisins, mixed peel, carrot, blueberries, ginger and parsley.  We then add a special mix of botanicals and hebal teas to boost the mineral, nutrient and antioxidant levels so you get the most in every spoonful of Vita Plantae. 

This special blend, includes a high concentration of ‘the mother’, which consists of dozens of strains of gut friendly microbes.  Our blend is easy to consume and can be added to various foods such as yougurt, oats, breads etc... Enjoy!
